Workshop “New EU Commitments. New Covenant of Mayors – Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy”, Chernivtsi

On August 10, 2016 Chernivtsi will host a workshop focused on the new EU climate and energy commitments within the framework of the new and integrated Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy initiative.

Welcome addresses to the workshop participants will be delivered by the representative of Chernivtsi City Council and Deputy Director of the project “Energy Efficiency in Municipalities” implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

During the seminar, the project consultant Mr. Bostjan Krajnc will speak about the new climate and energy objectives of the Covenant of Mayors, while Mr. Dmytro Marusych will present specific apsects of implementing energy efficient measures in public buildings.

Afterwards a general discussion on implementing SEAP of Chernivtsi in the framework of the New Covenant of Mayors will take place.
