7th European-Ukrainian Energy Day, Kyiv
Event date: 03.11.2016
On 3 November 2016, the 7th European-Ukrainian Energy Day entitled “Energy and Stereotypes: Gender, Security, Corruption” will be held in Kyiv, Premier Palace hotel. Organized by the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) with the support of the SAEE, Heinrich Boell Stiftung, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and other partners, the event will bring together energy professionals, law makers, developers, SMEs and major corporations, IFIs, NGOs, international donors and entrepreneurs, operating in Ukraine.
The event will feature a large variety of outstanding speakers and guests, in particular, Mr. Volodymyr Groysman, Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mr. Hennadiy Zubko, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mr. Mats Lundin, EUEA Chairman of the Board, Mr. Serhiy Savchuk, Head of SAEE etc.
This year the European-Ukrainian Energy Day we will focus on breaking stereotypes in the energy sector of Ukraine. The Energy Day’s agenda includes the following issues:
- Global energy trends and their impact on Ukraine
- Third energy package and other national and global policy trends
- Energy efficiency in buildings as a next priority
- Ukrainian аuture with renewables: What? How? When?
- Financing Ukraine’s energy future: IFIs and donors
